Rising
Rising is carved from the base of an ancient Olive tree that I rescued through purchase after it had been removed during a field clearing. Those who cleared the field would have turned it into fire logs, yet now we can all still be awed by its majesty – displayed in a new way.

This piece is the first art work I made purely for the sake of art. The work combines three separately carved pieces.
